In the reference 3rd cited orders have been issued declaring the officesof the Village/Ward Secretariats in the state as Office of the Sub-Registrarsfor taking Registration of documents Under "One Time Settlement Scheme"as a specific case, under section 7(1) of the Registration Act, 1908.

2. In consonance with this, Government have decided that thePanchayath Secretaries in the Village Secretariats and Ward AdministrativeSecretaries in the Ward Secretariats shall function as Sub-Registrar forregistration of documents Under "One Time Settlement Scheme" of HousingDepartment.

3. Accordingly, in terms of Sec-6 of the Registration Act, 1908 thePanchayat Secretaries /Ward Administrative Secretaries in the state shalldischarge the functions of registering officers of the Sub-Registrar forregistration of documents Under "One Time Settlement Scheme" of HousingDepartment as a specific case.

4. The Digital Assistant in the Village/Ward Secretariats in the State shallassist the Sub-Registrar for registration of documents Under "One TimeSettlement Scheme" of Housing Department.

5. Accordingly, the following notification shall be published in the Extra-Ordinary Gazette of the Andhra Pradesh, Dated: 25.11.2021.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 6 of the Registration

Act, 1908 (Act. No.16 of 1908) and in partial modification of all othernotifications issued in this behalf, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh herebyappoints the Panchayath Secretaries /Ward Administrative Secretaries in thestate as Sub-Registrars to discharge functions of Sub-Registrar for specificpurpose of registration of documents Under "One Time Settlement Scheme"of Housing Department.

2. The above notification shall come into effect with immediate effect.
