In a forest, the sun shone for many days in a row. The ponds and wells all dried up. A crow was thirsty and searched for water everywhere, but could not find any. Thirsty and tired, the crow finally reached a house.
There was a pot near the house’s roof, and it had only a little water. But the water was deep inside the pot. The crow with a short neck could not drink it and thought deeply. Then the crow had a clever idea.
She picked up stones one by one and dropped them into the pot. The water level rose, and eventually reached the top so the crow could drink. She saved her life with her cleverness.
